Karaoke inAtlanta
Where else does Wednesday karaoke come with a live church organist and a choir robe? Atlanta splits its singing between an intown circuit of personalities and a Korean private-room corridor running up Buford Highway to Duluth, where every one of the metro's seven-night venues sits.
The rooms live northeast, and in numbers. Duluth alone holds nine confirmed venues and Doraville four more, strung along Buford Highway and Pleasant Hill Road, where DoReMi, Luxor and RED Lounge sit within a couple of hundred street numbers of each other. Twice on this corridor, two karaoke bars share a single address. All seven of the metro's seven-night venues are here, most running to 2am or later.
Inside the Perimeter the format flips to open mic, and none of it is ordinary. Metalsome sings from 10:30pm to 3am in a club below a tavern. Sister Louisa's Church hands you a choir robe and a live organist. The Clermont Lounge takes Tuesdays. And the northwest suburbs — Marietta, Kennesaw, Roswell — run a DJ-hosted bar circuit of their own.

Buford Highway keeps the rooms
Follow Buford Highway southwest from Duluth and the rooms keep coming. Hangbok - Happy Karaoke runs seven nights from 6pm, to 3am on Friday and Saturday. In Doraville, Sapphire Karaoke & Restaurant takes Tuesday through Sunday, and Let's Go Karaoke shares 5979 Buford Highway with Karaoke Melody — one address, two karaoke bars, the corridor's second doubled-up address after Gangnam Style and Everysing in Duluth.
The corridor also holds the metro's strangest calendar and its latest weeknights. Mics Karaoke in Doraville opens Monday to Thursday only, 6pm to 2am — the week everyone else takes off. And Ai Tunes in Norcross runs Monday through Saturday from 6pm to 2:45am, the latest regular close we have confirmed in the metro. Hanshin Pocha Usa, back in Duluth, opens its doors at 2pm every day.
Midtown's shared address
The address-sharing habit is not just a corridor thing. At 1492 Piedmont Avenue, Mixx runs Karaoke Wednesdays from 9pm to 2am, and Balls Deep Karaoke @The Atlanta Eagle takes Thursdays from 9 to midnight — same building, different night.
Around the corner, Felix's Atlanta covers three nights: Monday karaoke with Betsi, a Tuesday night with more than 340,000 tracks to pick from, and a Saturday karaoke party. And The Local on Ponce keeps Monday at 9pm.
OTP, northwest
Marietta and Kennesaw run the bar-night circuit, and one host anchors a surprising amount of it: DJ Sarge is the resident at Karaoke at Highlands in Kennesaw on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and takes Fridays at Jimmy Mac's in Marietta, which runs Thursday through Sunday, 9pm to 1:30am. The Rusty Barrel sings Thursday to Saturday, and The Karaoke Spot in Kennesaw runs Thursday through Sunday from 7:30pm.
Further out: Chaplins in Roswell stages live DJ-operated karaoke shows Wednesday through Sunday, and iKaraoke in Douglasville is the rare private-rooms venue this far west — six days a week, closed Tuesdays.
