Genting Karaoke on Story Road runs 2pm to 2am every day of the week; Music Tunnel and Focus KTV hold the west side; Fremont's five confirmed venues are private rooms without exception. Of the venues open all seven nights, all but two are rooms rather than bars.

El Camino Real, room after room
One stretch of El Camino Real in Santa Clara carries three venues within a short drive of each other. Ema Karaoke bar at 2460 runs weeknights, 6pm to 2am. The Magie And Tiger at 2725 opens at 6pm, closing at 1am midweek and 2am from Friday. Camino Karaoke at 3378 is listed for both formats and does its singing at 9pm on the weekend, with a $10 cover.
Keep driving and the road keeps producing. Blue Max in Sunnyvale makes karaoke its specialty on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and Sodini's up in Redwood City runs Thursday to Saturday, 9pm to 1:30am.
East side, and one room on office hours
East San Jose clusters around Story, Senter and Tully. Genting is the seven-night anchor; Bay Karaoke on Tully Road does 3pm to midnight, Monday through Saturday; Diamond Studio Entertainment on Senter takes Thursday to Sunday evenings; Idol Karaoke on East Santa Clara Street opens mid-afternoon, Wednesday through Sunday.
And then there is Karaoke Center at 2322 Senter Road, which keeps hours nothing else on this page would recognise: 10am to 7pm, Monday to Wednesday. Karaoke as a daytime errand, done before dinner.
Fremont: five venues, zero bars
Every confirmed venue in Fremont is a private room. Echo Karaoke and Ultra Music Studio both list 34771 Ardenwood Boulevard and both run 9pm to 2am, seven nights — one address, two ways in. Jaguar Karaoke and KTV Karaoke open at 5pm daily, and Encore KTV holds Warm Springs. If the plan is singing in Fremont, the plan is a room.
