The High Street spine
North of downtown, the karaoke nights line up along and around High Street, one bar per night. Karaoke @ Ravari Room at 2657 N High takes Tuesdays from 10pm, and Brew-Stirs Clintonville Tavern a stretch further north at 3028 takes Tuesdays too. Eldorado's Food & Spirits, further up again at 4968, runs Thursday and Saturday, 9pm to 1am.
Off the spine, Cafe Bourbon Street on Summit Street sings on Wednesdays from 9pm, and The Thirsty Scholar on Neil Avenue holds down Monday — every week, 9pm to close, free. On a Monday, that is worth knowing.

The ring towns do not compete with each other; they rota. Wednesday is Pataskala at CJ O'Malley's, Gahanna at The Pub, Pickerington at Classic's Pizza, and Westerville at Cushions Billiards & Lounge — which also takes Sundays. Thursday is Marysville at Stephens Lounge. Friday is Grove City at The Jackpot Lounge, and Friday and Saturday belong to Hilliard, at Sloopy's Pub from 9:30pm to 1:30am.
The long drive south is Mike's Pizza & Pub in Ashville, which at three nights — Thursday, Friday and Saturday — matches the Duggie in Reynoldsburg for the busiest calendar outside the city proper.
