Dort Highway, both ends
Dort Highway carries the metro's karaoke from one end to the other. JW's at 617 South Dort is the fixed point: seven nights, 8pm to 2am. Follow the same road north, past the city line into Mount Morris, and at 6439 North Dort you reach Doobies Pub, which sings Thursday through Saturday.
From Thursday to Saturday the road makes a two-stop night: JW's from 8, then Doobies further up. Monday to Wednesday it is JW's alone on Dort, with Yanni's on Fenton Road the alternative.
Friday is the wide night
Six of the eight confirmed venues sing on a Friday, and two of them only then. J's Bar & Grill on North Saginaw Street in Holly keeps Karaoke Fridays. Out west in Durand, the Durand Eagles Club runs a Friday karaoke night that its visitors say they love.
