Monday, Tuesday, and the Indiana bank
Syl's Lounge on West Broadway is the west side's metronome: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:30pm to 1:30am, every week. On Mondays it shares the job with Steinert's on East Main across the river, where the karaoke starts at 10pm, runs Monday and Tuesday, and costs nothing.
That makes Tuesday an Indiana-and-Kentucky affair — Steinert's late, Kawaii's rooms from 2 in the afternoon, and the Gatsby room at Club 21 from 9. Mac's Hideaway in New Albany rounds out the riverbank with Thursdays and Sundays.
