Karaoke inSacramento
Two of Sacramento's KTV lounges open at eleven in the morning and do not stop until 2am. That is the south side. Midtown does the bar version, sign-up sheet and all, and does it every night of the week.
The south-side KTV corridor is the part visitors miss. Stockton Boulevard, Freeport Boulevard and Florin Road carry most of the city's private-room karaoke, and the hours are the generous part: two of these lounges open at 11am and run to 2am, a fifteen-hour singing day, every day.
Midtown is the other circuit: open-mic bars, no booking, mostly no cover, and Pine Cove Tavern running seven nights a week. Sacramento is also genuinely kind to the early crowd — a couple of its karaoke nights are finished by 10pm, on purpose, which is rarer than it should be.

Karaoke before dark
Sacramento is unusually accommodating if you do not want to be out until 2am. Star KTV Lounge and Home & Bar both open at 11am, so an afternoon room is genuinely available seven days a week.
At the other end of the evening, The Shop Midtown runs 7pm to 10pm on Mondays and Brookside Restaurant and Bar on Horn Road does Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm — occasionally to 10pm if the room is busy enough to justify it. Both are over before the midtown bars have really started.
The rest of the week
The remaining Sacramento karaoke is spread thin across the week, which means most nights have something within a short drive.
Firefly Lounge on Fulton runs Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday. Maple Room on Arden Way does Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9:30pm to 1:30am. Best Karaoke Bar & Restaurant on Governors Circle runs Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm, and Blue Moon Cafe on Freeport starts at 10pm on Thursdays with a two-drink minimum.
For a single night: Capitol Garage on K Street runs Thursdays at 8:30pm with Spectra, Faces does Mondays and a Thursday with free admission, and Streets Pub and Grub takes Wednesday and Friday at 9pm.
