Two of San Antonio's most distinctive karaoke venues are Filipino restaurants, and both treat singing as part of the meal rather than an event bolted onto a bar.
Pinoy Tambayan on Culebra Road runs karaoke outside from opening until 11pm and keeps a VIP room going until 4am. Sana All on Computer Drive offers karaoke six days a week alongside the food. Neither is a night out that begins at 10pm, which is rather the point.
