Beyond the two nightly bars, Tacoma fills its calendar in shifts. Flying Boots on South 38th — a longtime dive, and proud of it — runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9pm to 1:30am. Hilltop A Go-Go takes Thursday to Saturday from 8pm, and Primo Karaoke sets up at The Camp Bar on Tacoma Avenue on Friday and Saturday at 9.
The edges of the week get odder. Jazzbones on 6th Avenue does rockaraoke on Mondays. Club Silverstone closes things gently with a Sunday session from 6 to 11pm, done before midnight ever threatens.
