Wednesday is the night
On the ROX in Shockoe Bottom runs 9pm to 1am. Bandito's Burrito Lounge on Patterson Avenue takes the same night, as do Breakers Sports Grille on West Broad in Henrico and The Director's Lounge on Hermitage Road — four single-night venues, and every one of them chose Wednesday.

Monday and Tuesday, solved
Monday belongs to Richmond Billiards Association on Wadsworth Drive, where Monday Night Karaoke runs 7 to 11pm, hosted by Big Daddy Nich of Painted Red Promotions. Benny's and Lakeside Tavern round out the night.
Tuesday is stranger and better. Aw Shucks Country Store in Glen Allen — yes, a country store — runs open mic from 6:30 and karaoke from 8 to 10pm. Daddio's Bar & Grille on Gayton Road starts at 7pm. Then Sticky Rice picks the night up at 11pm, so a determined Tuesday can run from dinner to closing time without repeating a venue.
What the weekend holds
Friday and Saturday run through Benny's and Caddy's, plus one venue unlike the rest: HideAway at Fort Gregg-Adams — the address is Building 15013, 5th Street — pairs karaoke with line dancing both nights from 8pm.
Sunday means Barcode on East Grace Street, from 9pm until close; the same bar holds a Thursday night too. And out in Manquin, Another Round or 2 Bar and Grill keeps a weekly Thursday karaoke night for the far side of the metro.
